Hard Truth

A wise woman once told me that I should pursue what I'm good at and make it better. Ever since I've been trying to always develop my skill in writing. Some times I get discouraged but I am so thankful for my sister who willingly reads my work and gives me feedback.
If you want to grow in your writing don't give up when you feel bad about your work. Go find someone who will tell you honestly what they think.  Don't be afraid to hear the hard truth if that's what they give you. It can help you grow and learn. Still don't give up. Search about writing from those who have done before you. This is the best way to learn.
Also I have taken upon oneself the challenge for this coming new year. I am going to try to learn a new word each day. Now I know I talked about enlarging your vocabulary before and this is a way to do it. If you go to merriam Webster's dictionary website you cab see the word they post for each day. I would be delighted if anyone would like to do his with me. If so comment on this post.
